We stand a chance of winning this year’s 2026 PSL title!

By Staff Writer.

As Ngezi Platinum Stars supporters, we have every reason to believe this 2026 PSL title race is still alive. Despite the noise around other clubs strengthening in the midseason window, and despite our own transfer embargo, this team has shown enough character to stay in the conversation.

What matters now is not what others are buying, but what we already have. A title challenge is built on consistency, discipline, and belief, and those are qualities Ngezi can still lean on.

Why belief remains realistic

This squad has already proven that it can compete with the best when it stays organized and committed. In a league where momentum can shift quickly, a focused team can overcome a lot, especially when the group is united around a clear target.

The transfer embargo has undoubtedly made life harder. It limits options, reduces flexibility, and puts more pressure on the players and technical team to solve problems from within.

But sometimes that kind of pressure brings out the best in a club. It forces greater accountability, sharper preparation, and stronger team spirit, and those can be powerful weapons in a title chase.

Other clubs have moved

It is true that some of our rivals have gone into the market and added new faces to their squads. Midseason signings can change a team’s energy, cover weak spots, and give a lift in the final stretch of a campaign.

Still, transfers alone do not win championships. Chemistry, mentality, and the ability to grind out results are just as important, and that is where Ngezi must keep fighting.

If our rivals are relying on fresh arrivals to carry them, we must rely on what has already been built. That approach can still work, especially if the team keeps its shape and takes care of the key moments in matches.

What Ngezi must do

The path forward is clear. Ngezi must stay compact, avoid unnecessary dropped points, and treat every remaining fixture like a final.

The players must also trust the system and back one another. When a club cannot change its squad easily, every performance matters even more, and every point becomes precious.

Supporters also have a role to play. This is the time to rally behind the badge, defend the team with pride, and keep the pressure positive.

The bigger picture

A transfer embargo is not the end of a title dream. It is a test of whether the club can rise above limitations and still deliver under pressure.

If Ngezi Platinum Stars stay united and keep believing, this championship race is far from over. In fact, it may be exactly the kind of challenge that brings out the strongest version of the team.

The title is still within reach, and the fight should continue with full conviction.
